Hypnos, the
Greek god of sleep, was believed to carry a poppy stalk that dripped a liquid
that caused sleep.
Most dreams contain color
and occur during the rapid eye movement (REM) stage of sleep. REM occurs about
5 times a night.

the last day, he was having hallucinations and difficult thinking.
