feminism with a twist

i decided to push forward with a different take on feminism by choosing to do an illustration about transsexuals. in reference to the documentary trantasia i wanted to do an illustration that would serve as a spread in a magazine. this spread would be an exposé on how a lot of men (especially younger men) are opting to become women for skewed reasons (to be more objectified, to feel beautiful by being more overtly sexual/hyperfeminine).

to become a woman is to not just feel pretty, desirable, and objectified. going through a sex change should transcend anything superficial and it should be because one would be a psychologically-sound human being that could reach her goals to the fullest potential upon completing the transition. i wanted to have the magazine article have a fold out spread that further explains how men could transition to become women because they would ultimately have a more empowering platform.
